PRAYER - Communication with our Creator, freely giving over our lives, longings and belongings, and listening to the ‘still small voice’ is a continual practice. There are different forms of prayer practice.
Being in Silence, which is very healing, and stretching your senses all about you to feel any impulses or take in any feelings or ideas that may be Divinely inspired. Just sitting in silence and releasing all thoughts, some call "vegging out" just by sitting in a rocker or rocking your body can be very calming--to just listen and practice the Divine Silence.
Within the context of daily living, work to establish as much time as possible to sit or lie down and go into complete silence.
Though people don't often think of it as prayer, your attitude, countenance and thoughts are the very embodiment of prayer. Anything felt strongly with your senses and thoughts, that is a prayer--positive or negative.
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22 (KJV)
It is told that Wise Ones prayed rain or some other condition by going within and feeling, sensing and imagining with all their senses that condition as real in that moment that which they desired to bring forth. So notice when you feel strongly about something and see if something related to that comes about for you in some shape or form. It's been said, "Be careful what you pray for as you just might get it." Also remember: "What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me" Job 3:25 (NIV).
The simple act of just saying, "Help me, God." is a powerful prayer! Usually when we pray we are asking for something and hoping we'll get it. However, it has been my experience that though I might not get what I want, I always get what I need for the time. This kind of prayer is the one we're most used to because we were taught to pray asking that way since we were children and we learned to ask our parents and other adults for everything.
"And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually." 1 Kings 9:3 (KJV)
Say it with honesty, humility and from the deep gratitude and appreciation of your heart, pray your most heart-felt "Thank You", even if only just those two words. Beloved God (Abwoon) knows the content of your heart and receives all in that moment.
So no matter what, give daily thanks throughout the day for each nice little thing that comes you way. Even for things that appear to be obstacles because it just might be the thing that delays you from involvement in something unpleasant.
Your whole life changes the more you give small prayers of gratitude--try it for 30 days and notice the difference in your life!
"Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;" Colossians 4:2 (KJV)
Intercessory prayer is prayer on behalf of others. An intercessor is one who pleads another's case. One study bible defines intercession as "holy, believing, persevering prayer on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention."
Remember:
"Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf." 2 Corinthians 1:11 (KJV)
My Favorite Prayer (I also use as a mantra)
From God I come.
Through God I live.
By God I am nurtured.
To God I return.
My favorite prayer, which I also use as a mantra, came to me one very dark night of the soul. When I awoke in the morning, I found this prayer scrawled in my own handwriting on the pad next to my bed. I vaguely remembered writing something down in the middle of the night, and I just then remembered having felt such a peace and gentleness come over me as I fell back to sleep after writing something down, but not knowing what it really was that I wrote. Well, everything worked out fine and ever since then I return to this prayer often for comfort.
Here am I, Beloved Abwoon--Thank you for hearing me as you always do. I am truly Yours. I love you and thank you for keeping me in your heart, for your many blessings on us all of your love and grace this day as your Grace is sufficient unto us all, and I have a thankful heart at always. I offer up to You all that I do, cast every care on you, and begin and end everything with You. It is only by Your Spirit that I fulfill the dreams and destiny that You have placed within me. As You show me ways to reach out and be a blessing to others and how I may be of use to You this day, I pray for the wisdom and humility to hear and heed your guidance in all things. It is You who holds me strong in your integrity and keeps me from harm. It is You who moves in all our hearts and does the works for harmony and cooperation, and make us all one family. Amen
Beloved Abwoon, take charge of my day. You know what I must accomplish, and if you have better plans, help me to follow your will. Let me be your hands, eyes, & mouth upon this earth. Guide me to where you want me to share your love as I surrender to your love & open my heart to receive your love now and always. Thank You for ordering my steps and leading me in the life of blessing. I trust that every circumstance around me has meaning, purpose, and value. In Yeshua's name, Amen.

I AM conscious of the Life Force flowing through me at all times. I feel it's soothing, healing currents of Divine Love and know that every function of my physical being is whole and complete. I embody perfect health in my consciousness and I AM restored, renewed, and revitalized after God's Perfect Pattern within, in Yeshua's name, Amen!
PERFECT MIND...I AM perfect consciousness, I choose and accept it! I AM in tune and aligned with Source within me and allow it's healing power to be released into my mind, my consciousness, my emotions. I AM conscious of the Life Force flowing through me at all times. I sense it's soothing, healing currents of Divine Love and know that the perfect functioning of my mind amd emotions is whole, complete and at peace. I embody perfect mind in my consciousness and I AM restored, renewed and revitalized after God's perfect Pattern, in Yeshua's name, Amen!
Beloved Abwoon, I know I am one with you, and I know you do not intend for us to suffer in any way. Though we may feel pain and suffering, it is only through our smallness, fears, and forgetfulness of your loving grace. Through remembering you and remembering we are a part of you, we are delivered from our smallness, pain and sorrow and are united with you once again and are complete in your Spirit. Amen.
This Prayer of Remembering came to me as inspiration one morning in the wee hours when I was feeling particularly touched by Spirit.
Beloved Abwoon, I align myself with your heart, I ask you to help me want to do the things that I must. I ask you to direct my days, desires and activities. Please fill my heart with all that you desire for me to fulfill in this world for you. It is you beloved Abwoon that directs the blossoming of the flowers in the Spring. It is your divine love that causes the seeds to poke up through the rocky soils of winter, and to unfurl into the light. So too, direct this little life of mine and my blossoming. I will simply listen to my heart, one moment at a time, and by your hand, my soul will reach its full expression and glory in this lifetime. Amen.
Angel of God, dear guardian of mine to whom I am entrusted through the loving goodness of our Heavenly Creator. You who enlighten, protect and guide me now and always, thank you for never leaving my side and so generously nurturing me.
Such a gift it will be when at the hour of my transition I will behold you, my own loving angel who accompanied me during this life.
I pray Beloved Abwoon blesses you much for loving me so and for helping me always to acknowledge, trust, love and give gratitude to such a selfless soul as you. Amen.
Beloved Angel Guide, charge me with your great strength. Charge me with your light and your love. Charge my mental, physical, and spiritual selves with strength and energy. Keep me ever sensitive to your loving guidance and direction.
Beloved Spirit guide, angelic guardian, enhance the God-spark within me and assist me in calling upon the highest of energies. Permit the heavenly Light to move around and through me. Keep this Holy Light bright around and within me and with the power of the Father-Mother-Creator Spirit banish all negative and chaotic energies from my presence, now.
Type up (or cut and paste) this copy of the 91st Psalm and Psalm 91:11 and keep a copy in your wallet or pocketbook where you can refer to it in times of need. For Psalm 91, I have seen scroll holders made in sterling silver small enough to be worn as a necklace to hold a small print copy of this psalm. It has been said that many a soldier in WWI and WWII who wore this psalm, swore their lives were spared by it.
Psalm 91 (KJV):
"He who dwells in the protection of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from vain gossip. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day, Nor for the conspiracy that spreads in darkness; nor for the pestilence that wastes at noonday. Thousands shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you behold the reward of the wicked. For thou, O Lord, art my trust; thou has established thy habitation in the highest. There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the viper and adder; you shall trample under foot the lion and the great serpent. Because he has loved me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation."
Psalm 91:11 (KJV):
"For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways."

The Lord's Prayer - translated from the Aramaic:
O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos, you create all that moves in light.
O Thou! The Breathing Life of all,
Creator of the Shimmering Sound that touches us.
Respiration of all worlds, we hear You breathing - in and out - in silence.
Source of Sound in the roar and the whisper, in the breeze and the whirlwind, we hear Your Name.
Radiant One: You shine within us, outside us - even darkness shines - when we remember.
Name of names, our small identity unravels in You. You give it back as a lesson.
Wordless Action, Silent Potency - where ears and eyes awaken, there heaven comes.
O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos!
Amen.
NOTES: From the book by Neil Douglas-Klotz, Prayers of the Cosmos: Meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus.
The word "Abwoon" is Aramaic from the ancient Middle Eastern root, "ab", which refers to all fruit, all germination proceeding from the source of Unity, Creator, The All That Is. This root came to be used in the Aramaic word "Abba" for personal father, but still echoes it's original genderless root in sound-meaning. While "Abwoon" is a derivative of the word for personal father, its original roots do not specify a gender and would be translated as "divine parent [father/mother]". These roots reveal many levels of meaning as Aramaic is a language rich in subtle wordplay.
According to the mystical science of sounds and letters, common to both Aramaic and Hebrew, the word Abwoon points beyond our changing concepts of "male" and "female" to a cosmic birthing process. At this level of interpretation, Abwoon may be said to have four parts to its sound-meaning:
A: the Absolute, the Only Being, the pure Oneness and Unity, source of all power and stability (echoing to the ancient sacred sound AL and the Aramaic word for God - Alaha - literally, "the Oneness").
bw: a birthing, a creation, a flow of blessing, as if from the "interior" of this Oneness to us.
oo: the breath or spirit that carries this flow, echoing the sound of breathing and including all forces we now call magnetism, wind, electricity, and more. This sound is linked to the Aramaic phrase rukha d'qoodsha, which was later translated as "Holy Spirit."
n: the vibration of this creative breath from Oneness as it touches and interpenetrates form. There must be a substance that this force touches, moves, and changes. This sound echoes the earth, and the body here vibrates as we intone the whole name slowly: Ah-bw-oo-n.
