SUPPLIES for Cleansing & Purification:
Sage, Copal or Dhoop Incense for Cleansing (see Suggestion below)*
This cleansing process is for a home and property that is having problems, or a new place that someone is going to be moving into soon. Ideally, it might also be repeated once a year and you can make a ceremony out of it on a special anniversary date or just before special occasions.
(follow Holy Spirit's Guidance in your prayer):
As I am created in God's image, and as I have the mind of Christ, I have authority and dominion in this world. The same power that rules the Universe resides in me and it is God's everlasting Light that quickens and protects me. I call upon God's most Holy Spirit to work with me and ask now to escort any negative energies, souls or entities out of this place or property to their right and proper places from this home and property known as (the address). I now bless and consecrate this place in Yeshua's name. May this home and property be filled with the Divine Living Light of Almighty God and bless all who enter here. Amen.
Burn sage or incense in each corner of each room throughout house and do the same outside at the four corners of the property. At each corner say a blessing and give thanks that the Light of God is now present in this space.
When complete, give a prayer of thanks affirming that you are almighty God's beloved child and will always serve only Him, and close with a heartfelt blessing for yourself and all in attendance who may have assisted you.
Energetically cleansing your home with incense at least once a week in each room--just as often as you dust--at a minimum will make a huge difference in the atmosphere in your home. You might be surprised at the difference in the energy that people will even notice and comment on.
You don't have to do the big cleansing as outlined above, however, blessing your home with prayers of gratitude and calling in the Holy Spirit to cleanse, purify and bless as you walk through the house wafting the incense in each room or lighting a stick of incense in each room is all that is necessary. This should be a mindful practice of your intention to clear and cleanse the space of any and all negative or stagnant energy. Open the curtains, let the light in and also air out the rooms for a short while as well. All these things change the energy in your home for the better.
SPECIAL NOTE: This is especially important if you have one room in the house that is considered "storage". You know what I mean, it's that room that you always keep the door closed to the rest of the house. That kind of room tends to hold stagnant energy and often draws negative energy and even unwanted guests in spirit.
The most spiritually powerful incense I have ever found for cleansing space is sold by the Siddha Yoga Bookstore and is called *Ganeshpuri Dhoop or Blue Pearl Dhoop. They also sell a very nice brass incense burner and the necessary charcoal as well. I use it regularly to clear space at home, and I highly recommend using this for really big clearings or for ceremonial purposes. It is well worth the investment to have a brass incense burner and a ceramic plate to sit it on as the burner gets VERY hot and can damage furniture, and it makes it easy to carry around the house for purifying/blessing space.
Sage or copal are also very good for clearing space and people and is easy to find.

The Heart of Mysticism: The Infinite Way Letters 1955 - 1959
1248 pages, Paperback by Joel S. Goldsmith. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book of his The Infinite Way Letters 1955 - 1959. This collection was a long time in coming and finally brings together his most important spiritual material just as his students received it from him all in one incredible jewel of a book. This is truly one of my most treasured collection of his!
George Lamsa’s translation from the original Aramaic of the Peshitta - 1264 pages, Paperback. The authoritative English translation of the Aramaic (Syriac) Old and New Testaments--the language of Jesus--clarifies difficult passages and offers fresh insight on the Bible's message. Dr. George Lamsa states, 'Not a word of the Scriptures was originally written in Greek...the Scripture was written in Aramaic.' I believe that he is correct and those Christian apologists and ministers scrutinizing the nuances of Greek words for deeper understanding would be better served investigating the subtle meaning of Aramaic words and the cloaked truth behind Aramaic idioms. EXAMPLE: The Aramaic word for 'camel' is written identically to the word for 'rope.' When the original scrolls were being transferred into Greek, an error occurred due to the translator's limitations. Matthew 19:24 is commonly translated as, 'It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.' This is an obvious non sequitur, whereas the Aramaic manuscripts read 'rope' instead of 'camel'. Rope, of course, is much more in keeping with the imagery of a needle, and is probably what Jesus said, and what was originally recorded.

Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East (6 Volume Set)
Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East (6 Volume Set) [Box Set, Paperback] by Baird T. Spalding is the most inspiring and deep spiritual teaching of all time. This is the material that truly is to be considered spiritual food. Whether you can expand your consciousness to to hold all that these teachings have to give and open your life to an expansiveness beyond your current comprehension is entirely up to you. Just know that you can change and expand as a being if you so choose. It truly is as Yeshua said that we too can do all those things that he did and more. This material I will read over and over again and still receive new insights and revelations...and I'm sure you will, too. This is truly a blessing to have found and read. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
A special quote, "The observer is the first cause, the vital force that collapses not only the present but the cascade of past spatio-temporal events we call evolution. If, instead of identifying ourselves with the work," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "we feel that the soul of the workman streams through us, we shall find the peace of the morning dwelling first in our hearts, and the fathomless powers of gravity and chemistry, and, over them, of life, pre-existing within us in their highest form."
Emanuel Swedenborg: his life, teachings and influence
299 pages, Paperback by George Trobridge. The writings of Swedenborg tell us about his spiritual experiences and the Lord's teachings. But who was Swedenborg? This book explores that question, following Swedenborg's career that prepared him for the work of writing the Lord's words. A really great primer on the basics of the life of Emanuel Swedenborg.

Gnostic Secrets of the Naassenes: The Initiatory Teachings of the Last Supper
304 Pages, Paperback by Mark H. Gaffney. Mark Williams, The Midwest Book Review, Apr 2005: ". . . one book that not only makes the spiritual connections between East and West, but exposes some of the reasons why modern Christianity lacks some of the power that it was originally infused with. . . . a book that you'll want to take back off the shelf again and again because it's that important." An incredible book that reveals the hidden meaning of the Grail and a secret Christian doctrine for achieving higher consciousness; shows that Gnosticism is not a derivative of Christianity but the revelation of the true message of Jesus; describes the ancient relationship between water and spirit; explains the doctrine of immanence taught by Jesus at the Last Supper and features the translated source text from The Refutation of All Heresies by Bishop Hippolytus, the only existing record of the Naassene Sermon.
176 Pages, Paperback by Garry Wills a Pulitzer Prize winner for his history writing, is a Roman Catholic, albeit a restless one, taking issue with many elements of that institution and not afraid to commit fully to his ideas about the faith. I had a bit of an epiphany when reading this book and can honestly say that this book helped me to reconfirm some of my early beliefs that were 'on the fence' and are now much more clearly defined because of this book. From Publishers Weekly: Christianity has been twisted and warped to such an extent that not even Jesus would recognize it now. This is Wills's thesis in his stimulating, fresh look into the life and message of Jesus of Nazareth. The now-ubiquitous phrase, "What Would Jesus Do?" encouraged Wills, professor of history at Northwestern University and prolific writer on contemporary religion, to take a closer look at how the Christian message has been used and abused in recent times. Wills believes that most Christians don't understand Jesus' startlingly radical message, so they should not claim to have knowledge of how he would act today.

On Having No Head: Zen and the Rediscovery of the Obvious
123 pages, Paperback by Douglas E. Harding. On Having No Head was first published in 1961. Since then, it has become a modern spiritual classic. "Headlessness" is the feeling of no-self, which mystics of all times have aspired to. It is an instantaneous way of "waking up" and becoming more aware of one's true self. Simple exercises help meditators shift their focus from the mind to pure awareness, the true goal of meditation. In this revised edition, Douglas conveys the immediacy, simplicity, and practicality of what he calls the "headless way," placing it within a Zen-like context. Douglas also draws parallels to practices in other traditions. Is the world you experience "inside" your mind or "outside" it?
What Paul Meant
208 Pages, Paperback by Garry Wills, building on the popularity of his bestseller 'What Jesus Meant'. on the life and doctrines of the apostle, Paul of Tarsus. This is an incredible book that covers much about the controversial writings on both sides either vilifying or promoting St. Paul. More than any other recent book I've read, I found this quite eye-opening and it made a few key points extremely clear about the schisms in the early days during the formation of Christianity. It answers lots of questions about Christianity and Judaism...and why does it seem that Paul causes discord in Christianity?
Complete Works of H. Emilie Cady
197 pages, Paperback by Emily H. Cady. This is a PROFOUNDLY life-changing book. If you wish to discover the truth of your being, Cady is an excellent starting point. However, she is the first one to discourage you from attempting to find truth in external sources. Rather, truth is found within, and sometimes a guide is helpful! Dr. Cady lays the foundation of Jesus' teachings in a clear and concise manner, then invites you to heed the Wayshower's call and follow Him. She explains that Jesus was the great example, not the great exception. We are called to do more than worship Jesus; we are called to be like him and we do so by discovering our own inner Christ. This book gives you the roadmap necessary to uncover God's image within and to reacquaint ourselves with the true meaning of what Jesus came to share with the world. You'll keep this on on your nightstand.
175 Pages, Paperback by White Eagle through the mediumship of Grace Cooke. Grace was a modern British Spiritualist medium who founded the Church of the White Eagle Lodge in 1936 under the inspiration of her Indian spirit guide, White Eagle. She used her psychic gifts to offer evidence of survival, and Ramsay MacDonald, the then British prime minister, vouched for the accuracy of her spirit communications. But, in later years, her emphasis shifted to spiritual healing and to channeling teachings from White Eagle and a few other spirit entities, including that of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Mrs. Cooke died September 5, 1979, at age 87. Some pretty wonderful inspirational and biblical insights can be found here. Generally, obstacles, illness and difficulties come to help the soul to understand and to acquire wisdom--sort of a Spiritual Gold's Gym to develop your spiritual muscles and discipline.
304 Pages, Paperback by William S. Moses. Written in 1883. REPRINT OF A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND BOOK. Spirit Teachings, which came through Rev. Moses's hand in what is called automatic writing is regarded as Spiritualism's greatest classic. Here, in language of matchless prose, is contained the religious, philosophical and ethical implications of Spiritualism, as viewed by the spirit world. The communicators, by sheer brilliant logic, compelled their medium to abandon, stage by stage, his orthodox religious beliefs. They gave clear evidence of their high purpose and furnished him with irrefutable proofs of Survival. The Spirit "Imperator" (whose identity was revealed as the ancient Jewish prophet "Malachi" in "More Spirit Teachings") is telling us that "All races of men have has a beam of this light amongst them. They have received it as best they might, have fostered it or dimmed it according to their development, and have in the end adapted to their different wants that which they were able to receive. None has reason to vaunt itself in exclusive possession, or to make futile efforts to force on others its own view of truth. So long as your world has endured, so long has it been true that the Brahmin, the Mohammedan, the Jew, and the Christian, has had his peculiar light, which he has considered to be his special heritage from heaven."

Dakshina
by Deva Premal CD - On Dakshina, Premal, along with her partner, guitarist Miten, converts chants into serene, almost easy-listening refrains. Mantras are rapidly becoming the music of choice for people seeking solace in sound, and Deva Premal, dubbed by one reviewer as "the Enya of mantra" is a most hypnotic and passionate voice. This is my all-time favorite spiritual music! Also available in downloadable .mp3 - you can sample each of the tracks as well.
Secrets of the Immortal: Advanced Teachings from a Course in Miracles Audio Book CD - Essentially, the casual series of "sessions" examines key points of "A Course in Miracles," a channeled work, and adds detailed accounts of Renard's own personal spiritual experiences. What if you could accelerate your spiritual progress so greatly that you would never have to "come back" to learn more lessons? Is it possible that a form of "advanced forgiveness"—if fully understood and achieved—could bring you perfect peace? Gary is very easy and fun to listen to and makes sense of so many things that were so unclear before. A Course In Miracles has been around for a long time, and there were many questions that were quite unclear and listening to these CD's has made the Course MUCH more understandable!
Satori - Music For Yoga And Meditation
Music For Yoga And Meditation by Riley Lee CD - Truly inspired music with Zen-like simplicity which can bliss you away! Also available in downloadable .mp3 - you can sample each of the tracks as well.
The Ghandarva Experience

God Talks with Arjuna: The Bhagavad Gita
The Royal Science of God-Realization by Pramahansa Yogananda of the Self-Realization Fellowship, 1224 pages, Hardcover. Yogananda dictated his commentaries to his most trusted students during retreats to the southern California desert during the late 1940s. Those disciples related how the yoga master would, from his state of samadhi (conscious communion with God), pour out this uninterrupted stream of spiritual erudition throughout the night, surpassing the endurance of his much younger scribes. One close disciple vividly recalls today how merely to enter the room during these divine dictations had the feel of being ''in the very presence of The Divine.'' In meditating lovingly upon his words in these volumes the modern reader may again dip into that Presence. Pace yourself and first of all SAVOR, and PRACTICE... the guidance offered by Yogananda: meditate on The Divinity within and around you.
The Jeshua Letters (A Journey of Awakening)

A wonderful primer on the basics of true Spirituality, along with helping us to understand that "we (collectively) are the only begotten Son of God" with immense and incredible insights. It left me in complete awe! NOTE: If you want to read more and learn deeply teachings beyond The Yeshua Letters, then get yourself a copy of The Way of Mastery from the Shanti Christo Foundation.
